The bohemian neighborhood of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, 1963. The three founders' fascination with nature gave rise to an exceptional herbarium of scents. Flowers, fruits, trees, herbs and spices make up this living collection.
A signature scent. The 34 Boulevard Saint-Germain candle invites a return to the effervescence of the 1960s, in the very first Diptyque boutique.
At the heart of a cabinet of curiosities, mosses and blackcurrant leaves blend with Oriental spices, creating a unique, signature atmosphere. The quintessence of Diptyque's art de vivre.
The result of exceptional craftsmanship, the art of perfumery meets candle-making expertise. Each candle is made from a blend of several types of wax and a high-quality fragrance concentrate, as well as a selection of a wick that guarantee perfect scent diffusion and combustion. Meticulous work carried out in two factories, near Paris and in Provence, by master candle makers.
